"A trip of a lifetime."  That was the way Varsity Scout Coach Mark Habermeyer described Team 134's summer of 1998 expedition to Philmont Scout Ranch.  "I'm sure that it will be the high point in the scouting experiences of all those young men who went", Habermeyer remarked.  On August 12, 1998 nine Varsity Scouts and their three leaders embarked on an 11 day adventure to the mountains of northeastern New Mexico.

Team 134 Conquers the Arkansas River in Colorado
The river was cold but we had a great time on the first day of our trip!

Air Force Academy Chapel
We were able to take a tour and explore the campus.

Garden of the Gods
No trip to Colorado Springs would be complete with a stop at this scenic venue!
